Meet the Founder


Shayna Fonteno is a product and agent for life experience. She’s built the woman she is today with it, and raised her company by gifting it. The New York City resident, by way of California’s Bay Area, first fell in professional love as a Corporate Communications major at Baruch College. It was at her Alma mater where Shayna flourished as an on-air personality and Music Director for WBMB Radio. She later transitioned to co-hosting one of Sirius XM Satellite Radio’s top rated music programs. While building her brand on the airwaves, she found inspiration to grow her expanding network off-air. In 2009 she founded The Diva Lounge (TDL), a multi-media company designed to connect females by introducing them to premium lifestyle brands via uniquely customized experiences. TDL has partnered with and developed event marketing strategies and brand activations in the world of beauty (Carol’s Daughter), spirits (Remy Martin, Chambord) and film (Durga Entertainment).


While growing TDL across America, Ms. Fonteno has simultaneously lent her professional skill set and experience to a number of powerhouse brands. Whether conceptualizing events for EXPRESS, Univision or Estee Lauder or leading event production for Entertainment Weekly, AOL or CNN, Shayna Fonteno has and continues to be an entrusted go-to no matter how large the client or job. Her sterling reputation and productivity can be accredited to her years being groomed by Fortune 500 companies such as IAC under the tutelage of icons like Barry Diller. It’s why she most recently excelled as a leader within the Madison Square Garden Company’s Entertainment division.
